MAKERVA is a marketplace created to give disabled makers a dedicated place to showcase and sell what they create. Whether you work with wood, textiles, art, jewellery, ceramics, crafts or something completely different, MAKERVA is about the maker as much as the product.
Made by disabled makers. Built for disabled makers.
We want MAKERVA to make it easier for customers to discover the person behind the product. Makers will have their own profile, their own story and a place to showcase what they create — without getting lost among mass-produced products.
Why join MAKERVA?
- Your own maker profile and story
- A dedicated place to showcase and sell your work
- Reach customers specifically looking to support disabled makers
- Be part of a marketplace built around genuine handmade products
- Join a growing community of disabled creators
- Simple, transparent fees — no hidden surprises
Who can join?
MAKERVA is open to disabled makers across the UK who create their own products. You might be a woodworker, artist, knitter, crocheter, sewer, jeweller, potter, photographer or any other type of independent creator. You don’t need to run a large business — hobby makers and small independent businesses are welcome too.
The important thing is that the products you list are genuinely made or created by you. MAKERVA is about celebrating real makers, their skills and their stories — not mass-produced or bought-in products.
Interested in joining?
We’re currently building the first MAKERVA community and looking for disabled makers who would be interested in joining the marketplace.
There’s no commitment at this stage. If you’re interested, register your interest and tell us a little about yourself and what you make. We’ll keep you updated as MAKERVA develops and contact you when maker applications open.
